How the lifecycle works
It starts like any sale: a first charge through the hosted checkout, VAT shown before payment. From then on, renewals happen on schedule without the buyer ever seeing a checkout again.
Cards fail — expired, replaced, out of funds. Instead of dropping the subscriber, failed-payment recovery retries on a schedule before giving up, so a card hiccup doesn't end a customer relationship.
Cancellation is the part most systems fumble. Here it is explicit — immediate or end-of-period — and access flips with status, so the ledger, the subscription and what the buyer can reach never disagree.
