01What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device. When you return, the site reads it to remember something about your visit — for example, that you are already signed in. Cookies can't run programs or read anything else on your device; they only hold the small pieces of information the site puts in them.

02The cookies we use

We keep this simple. Mavi Pay uses only strictly necessary cookies — the ones the service genuinely cannot work without. There are two of them:

• A session (sign-in) cookie that keeps sellers logged in as they move between pages of their dashboard, so they do not have to type their password again on every screen.
• A security cookie that helps protect the account — it lets us confirm that requests are coming from the genuine signed-in person and guards against common sign-in attacks.

Nothing else is stored on your device by us.

03What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not load third-party analytics cookies that follow your behaviour. There are no marketing pixels and no cross-site profiling built into Mavi Pay.

04Cookies during payment

When a buyer reaches the checkout, the payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. To keep that payment secure and to help prevent fraud, Stripe, Inc. may set its own cookies on the buyer's device. These cookies are necessary for the payment step to work safely and are controlled by Stripe, Inc. under its own policies, not by us.

05Managing cookies

Both buyers and sellers can clear or block cookies at any time through their web browser's settings — every major browser lets you view, delete, or refuse cookies. Please note one limit: the sign-in cookie is required to use a Mavi Pay account. If you block it, you will not be able to stay signed in, and the seller dashboard will not work.

06Changes to this policy

If we ever change how we use cookies, we will post the updated policy on this page and refresh the date shown at the top. We encourage you to check back from time to time.
